"...Rumors spread quickly throughout villages of Merkat Dum. Strange noises were heard in the surrounding forests. 
Traveling merchants spoke of bizarre animal screams, lumberjacks felt the sound of tearing soil. Citizens knew what was happening, same story happened on this land 13 years ago.

Yet, no one wanted to say it out loud out of the fear of making it real, trying to avoid the inevitable. There was no escape from the curse of the dead lands though.

The prophecy had to be fulfilled.
